The story goes that the body was originally horse drawn, then motorized 3 times on T chassis. The body came for sale in the early 60s at an auction of a local bakery. As I recall there was a woman interested in making it into a doll house, Dad was not going to let that happen! I dont recall the sale price but it came home with us, then over the next 15 years we picked through barns and ravines throughout Henry Co. and assembled this version.
The wood and paint on the body is original NO restoration, just rubbed with "boiled linseed oil" from time to time.
